Dr. A. Jacques Fuselier
Food Animal Specialist and Theriogenologist
Dr. Fuselier, Theriogenologist and Production Animal and White-Tailed Deer Specialist, was born and raised in Mamou, Louisiana graduated from LSU with BS in 1998. Long before being a being a local Louisiana vet or Production Animal / White-Tailed Deer Specialist, Dr. Fuselier always had compassion for cattle, deer, and any of Louisiana's other creatures.
Following graduation from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, Dr. A. Jacques Fuselier opened a mixed-animal veterinary clinic in southern Louisiana. Dr. Fuselier left private practice in 2010 to accept a Visiting Clinical Instructor position in the food animal section of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2011, he successfully became board certified with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the Food Animal practice category. He also became board certified with the American College of Theriogenologists in 2013.
In addition, Dr. Fuselier successfully completed the Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians Course at the national Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in Plum Island, New York. Dr. A. Jacques Fuselier served as an Assistant Professor in Farm Animal Health Management at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Fuselier is offering food animal and White-Tailed Deer services at Whittington Veterinary Clinic as Whittington's Production Animal / White-Tailed Deer Specialist.
These services are offered locally and statewide across Louisiana.
